Coming from an educational background of Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and Cleveland Marshall Law School, Perdreau surprised everyone when he arrived at his style of art while trying to relax when studying for the bar exam in 2009.  Having only taken 4 quarters of introductory art classes at Ohio University, he equally astonished everyone when he created his own fashion line based on his art called Perdreams.

The journey through the art world started in 2013 when he decided to randomly show his art to galleries where he lived in Beacon, NY.  The first gallery he went to, the owner was so impressed that she gave him a contract on the spot after seeing one painting.  Later a New York City curator happen to come into that gallery, which led to an exhibition in Chelsea next to the Picasso exhibition at Pace Gallery.  Perdreau was picked as one of the best underground artist in New York City by and exhibited in their group show in Soho.  Subsequently, he was offered an opportunity to exhibit with Keith Haring at a group show in the East Village at Dorian Gray Gallery.
